Lone Star Sixteen Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    red kidney beans
    black-eyed peas
    garbanzo beans
    green split peas
    yellow split peas
    baby limas
    large and small navy beans
    large white butter beans
    field peas
    speckled limas
    pinto beans
    lentils
    black beans
    pink beans
    red beans
    juice from 2 lemons
    1 to 2 cloves garlic
    2 cans tomatoes
    2 large onions, quartered
    4 qt. water
    2 jalapeno peppers, deseeded and finely chopped (optional)
    2 lb. meat*
    2 green bell peppers
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    salt and pepper
    2 c. brown rice
Preparation
    Cook all day (6 to 8 hours).
    Add water if needed. Serve with cornbread and big spoons!
