Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    3 eggs, separated
    vanilla
    butter
Preparation
    Scald 1 1/2 cups milk.
    Mix sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, 1/2 cup milk and beaten egg yolks.
    Pour scalded milk over this mixture and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Top with egg whites, beaten stiff, allowing 2 tablespoons sugar to each egg white.
    Brown in 325\u00b0 oven.
