Bacon, Onion, Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. sliced bacon
    2 lb. potatoes, thinly sliced
    1 lb. onion, thinly sliced
    1 large cooking apple, peeled, cored and sliced
    1/2 tsp. sage, dried
    salt and pepper
    5/8 c. water
    2 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Layer
    potatoes, onion, apple and
    bacon
    in
    casserole dish. Sprinkle each layer with very
    little
    sage and seasoning.\t Top layer should be potatoes.
    Pour
    water
    over
    top. Cover and cook at 325\u00b0 for 2 hours.
    Dot potatoes with butter, then bake until brown, 30 minutes.\tServes 6.
