Coke Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    2 small boxes cherry jello
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 c. Coke
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Boil the sugar and water.
    Add the jello; stir until dissolved.
    Add the cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple, Coke and chopped nuts.
    Mix together.
    Refrigerate, covered, for at least 3 hours.
