Russian Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar and vanilla together.
    Sift flour and salt and add to mixture.
    Stir in pecans and chill dough.
    Roll into 1-inch balls and place 2 1/2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake about 9 to 10 minutes in a 400\u00b0
    oven until set but not brown.
    While warm, roll in powdered sugar.
    Cool and roll in sugar again.
