Broccoli Rice Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked Minute rice
    6 slices bacon browned
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 c. frozen, chopped broccoli
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook rice according to package directions.
    Brown bacon in skillet; drain on paper towel.
    Brown onion in same skillet.
    Cook broccoli in saucepan until tender; do not drain.
    Put onion and 2 tablespoons of drippings in pan with broccoli.
    Add salt, pepper and rice.
    Warm slowly while adding milk.
    Crumble bacon on top. Serves 4.
