Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
    1 can strawberry pie filling
    1 large can crushed pineapple (with juice)
    1 large pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. sugar
    chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix gelatin and water.
    Let cool.
    Mix filling and pineapple with gelatin and let it congeal in a 14 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish. Beat cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and nuts together until fluffy. Spread evenly on congealed jello. Garnish with nuts.
    Keep refrigerated. Serves 12.
