Savory Swiss Chard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 onion
    3 cloves garlic
    1/2 can tomatoes (regular size, solid)
    2 tsp. dried parsley
    2 plastic bags Swiss chard
Preparation
    Brown bacon in large pot (5-quart pot).
    Add sliced onion and garlic cloves, chopped fine.
    Brown onion, then add garlic.
    Now add tomatoes.
    Crush the tomatoes to small pieces.
    Also add half of tomato liquid and dried parsley.
    Cook 10 minutes, covered, then add cleaned wet Swiss chard.
    Cook until tender.
    Serve hot.
