Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box strawberry or mixed berry jello
    1 can 7UP or Sprite
    4 tablespoons cornstarch
    1 tub Cool Whip
    1 pint fresh strawberries
    3/4 cup sugar-optional
    1 graham cracker crust (if homemade: 1 package graham crackers and 1/2 stick margarine, melted, combined and pressed into pie plate)
Preparation
    Combine cornstarch, sprite and sugar in saucepan.
    Cook over low heat until thickened.
    It will look like a clear white mix. Remove from stove.
    Mix in Jell-O.
    Cut strawberries (leave a few for the top), add to mixture.
    Pour into pie crust and refrigerate until mixture sets up about 1 hour.
    Top with whip cream and a few pieces of strawberries.
