Corn Pops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter (do not use margarine)
    1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    4 bags Corn Pops (found in potato chip aisle, do not use Corn Pops, the cereal)
Preparation
    Put Corn Pops in a big bowl and set aside.
    Combine remaining ingredients in a large pan and cook over medium heat.
    Stir constantly until the butter is melted.
    Bring to a boil and continue cooking to the firm ball stage.
    Remove from heat and pour over Corn Pops.
    Mix thoroughly.
