Cream Cheese Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. softened, not runny, shortening (oleo or Crisco)
12 oz. cream cheese, softened
Preparation

Mix slowly until blended.
Refrigerate 1/2 hour.
Roll out and use for open fruit pies, tarts or other small pastries.
Bake at temperature required for fillings.
