German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 sticks margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 egg whites
Preparation
    Line
    bottom
    of 3 (9-inch) greased round pans with wax paper. Microwave\tchocolate
    and\twater
    in
    bowl
    for
    1 1/2 minutes on High until chocolate is almost melted.
    Stir until chocolate
    is completely\tmelted.
    Mix flour with baking soda and
    salt;\tset aside.
    Beat
    margarine
    and
    sugar.
    Add egg yolks,
    one
    at
    a time.
    Beat well.
    Stir in melted chocolate and
    vanilla.
    Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk. Beat
    egg whites until stiff, gently stir in batter.
    Bake for 30\tminutes
    at 350\u00b0. Cool and spread on Coconut-Pecan Frosting.
