Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 qt. oysters
    1 qt. warmed half milk and half cream
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan, melt butter.
    Add oysters and cook 1 minute or until edges of oysters curl.
    Add milk, salt, pepper and paprika.
    Bring almost to boiling point and serve at once with oyster crackers.
