Cioppino - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped parsley
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    6 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 (36 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes, chopped
    6 cans tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 c. fresh basil, shredded
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 dungeoness crabs, chopped
    1 lb. shrimp
    1 lb. firm fish fillets
    1 lb. clams
    2 c. red wine
Preparation
    Saute onion, parsley, green pepper and garlic in olive oil. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasoning.
    Simmer for 1/2 hour covered.
    Stir in wine, seafood and basil for another 1/2 hour or until done.
    Serve with hot French bread.
