Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
cucumbers

Preparation

Let
mixture
of first seven ingredients get thoroughly heated.
Then
add
a
pint of cucumbers cut into thin slices. Just
before
reaching
the boiling point, pack into a jar and seal while hot.
