Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. apples
    1/4 c. water
    1/3 c. butter or oleo
    1/2 c. rolled oats
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of salt
    lemon juice
Preparation
    Peel, core and slice 4 cups of apples.
    Place in buttered baking dish with 1/4 cup water.
    Cut together the butter, flour, rolled oats, sugar, cinnamon and salt.
    Sprinkle some lemon juice over the apples.
    Spread topping mixture over apples.
    Bake in a 10 x 6 x 2-inch pan for 40 minutes at 375\u00b0.
