Black Forest Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box chocolate cake mix
    2 (8 oz.) tubs Cool Whip
    1 large pkg. instant chocolate pudding
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Divide cake in half and cut each half in 1-inch cubes.
    Place 1/2 of cake cubes in bottom of a punch bowl.
    Pour half of prepared pudding on next.
    Dot 1/2 of cherry pie filling on top of pudding.
    Spread one 8 ounce Cool Whip over pie filling to edge of bowl.
    Repeat process with remaining half of each ingredient.
    Cool Whip in 2nd layer may be squeezed through decorator bag for a festive effect.
    Chill 3 hours to let flavors mingle.
