Marinated Veggies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can petite pois peas, drained
    1 can French green beans, drained
    4 stalks celery, chopped
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 bell pepper, sliced
    3 oz. jar pimento (optional)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Mix vegetables; set aside, then combine sugar, vinegar, oil and water.
    Bring to a boil and pour over vegetables.
    Marinate in refrigerator for 24 hours.
    Drain well and serve.
    Very good.
