Fried Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    sliced green tomatoes
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    dash of salt
    flour
Preparation
    Mix milk, eggs and salt.
    Dip slices of tomatoes into milk mixture, then dip into flour.
    Lightly brown tomatoes in hot shortening in frying pan.
    Brown on both sides.
    Serve warm.
