Sliced Garden Tomato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large tomatoes (1 1/2 lb.)
2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. tarragon wine vinegar
Preparation

Wash tomatoes and remove stem ends.
Cut into 1/4-inch thick slices.
Arrange half the slices in a shallow serving dish and sprinkle with half the sugar, salt and pepper.
Top with remaining slices and sprinkle with the rest of the sugar, salt and pepper. Pour vinegar over top.
Refrigerate, covered, at least 1 hour before serving.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
