Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1 cooked pie shell
    1 small pkg. strawberry jello
    1 1/2 pt. strawberries
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook sugar, cornstarch and water until clear and thick. Remove from heat and add strawberry jello minus 1 tablespoon. Stir thoroughly\tand let cool.
    Slice strawberries and put in cooked pie
    shell.
    After\tthe mixture is cool, pour over the strawberries.
    Top\twith
    Cool
    Whip.
    Refrigerate about 1 1/2 hours before serving.
