Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Add flour; continue beating well.
    Add lemon flavoring.
    Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Test for doneness.
