Traveling Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3 lb. cabbage, shredded
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped pepper
    1/2 c. chopped pimentos
Preparation
    Heat first 7 ingredients.
    Mix cabbage, onion, pepper and pimentos.
    Pour liquid over cabbage mixture.
    Refrigerate.
    Keeps indefinitely.
