Date Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 eggs
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 lb. dates
1 1/2 c. pecans

Preparation

Blend eggs, butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0. Bake 35 minutes or until cake tester or toothpick comes out clean. When cake is cool, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
