Grapefruit Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can grapefruit sections
2 pkg. Knox plain jello
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
cherries to decorate top
Preparation

Drain grapefruit; save liquid.
Place grapefruit sections into dish.
Pour pineapple (undrained) over grapefruit sections.
Mix gelatin and grapefruit juice together.
Heat sugar and water (do not boil!).
Pour over juice and gelatin.
Mix well and pour over grapefruit and pineapple.
Garnish with cherries.
Cool in refrigerator.
Tart and very good.
