Favorite Noodle Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil
    3 lb. beef chuck, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes
    4 medium onions, finely chopped
    1/4 c. tomato paste
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. parsley flakes
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 small bay leaf
    noodles
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    In a large pan, which has a tight cover and can be put in the oven, heat the oil.
    Brown beef on all sides, a third at a time.
    Remove beef to bowl as browned.
