Ingredients

3 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
5 eggs
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour and half of the milk.
Add beaten eggs.
Add rest of milk.
Fold in melted butter.
Add vanilla.
Pour into unbaked pie shells.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Turn oven down to 350\u00b0 and continue baking until knife comes out clean when inserted into center.
Makes 2 pies.
