Moist Molasses Crumb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine or Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. water
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. baking molasses
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. crumbs (for topping)
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients together and take out 1 cup of crumbs for topping.
Mix water, corn syrup, molasses and baking soda and stir well.
Add liquid to remaining crumbs and stir.
Batter will be quite thin.
Spread crumbs over batter before baking.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when tested.
