Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. cooked, chopped prunes
    1 c. prune juice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. soda in water
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and prunes.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with prune juice.
    Add vanilla.
    Lastly, add beaten egg whites.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
