Whole Wheat Onion Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, finely chopped (1/2 c.)
    1/2 c. thinly sliced green onion
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. onion powder
    1/2 tsp. dried marjoram
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. low-fat buttermilk
    1/4 c. cholesterol-free egg product, defrosted or 1 egg
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. flaked bran cereal, crushed
    2 Tbsp. chives (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Spray 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pan with nonstick spray.
    Dust lightly with flour.
