Fluffy Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
    Cut in shortening until mixture is like corn meal.
    Add milk and egg to form a soft dough. Drop by teaspoon into boiling broth.
    Cover tightly and cook for 12 minutes without removing lid.
    Serve.
