Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. soda (baking)
2/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add beaten eggs.
Mix well.
Add bananas.
Add dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Add vanilla and nuts. Mix well.
Makes two small loaves.
Put in greased pans and bake 1 hour at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0.
Frost with plain icing if desired.
