Caramel Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. milk
2 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt butter and stir in brown sugar.
Cook and stir over low heat for 2 minutes.
Add milk.
Continue stirring, until boiling. Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm.
Stir in confectioners sugar and vanilla; beat with electric mixer until spreading consistency. Frosts 2 (9-inch) layers.
