Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 scant Tbsp. buttermilk
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix butter, sugar, egg yolks and buttermilk.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into other ingredients.
Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
Pour into single unbaked crust.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
