Strawberry Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. strawberries, drained (save juice)
    1 lb. cake (loaf)
    3 c. milk
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 large instant vanilla pudding
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Mix strawberry juice and cornstarch to make a glaze (2 cups). Cool and add berries.
    Cut cake into slices and cut slices into fingers about half an inch wide.
    Line the bottom and sides of a glass bowl with cake, leaving a small space between each.
