Macaroon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 to 14 crackers
pinch of salt
2/3 c. pecans
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
3 stiffly beaten egg whites
1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation

Finely crush crackers.
Add finely chopped pecans.
Mix together in a small bowl the sugar, salt and baking powder.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Add sugar mixture and beat until eggs are glass white.
Fold in pecans and cracker mix.
Put in greased 9-inch pie pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Let cool completely and top with whipped cream.
Keep in icebox.
