Chicken Or Pork Adobo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken, cut up into 12 pieces
    6 cloves garlic
    1 tsp. ground pepper
    3 bay leaves
    1 inch square ginger, cut up in strips
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Wash chicken pieces; remove skin.
    Mix all of the ingredients in a large skillet.
    Cook on high-medium until boiling.
    Remove froth when boiling.
    Reduce heat to medium-low.
    Continue to cook until meat is tender (approximately 45 minutes).
    Do not let skillet dry out.
    Serve with rice.
    Serves 6.
