Chicken-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. raw converted rice
    1/2 c. melted oleo
    2 1/2 to 3 c. chicken broth
    3 to 4 c. cut-up chicken
    2 (4 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/3 c. soy sauce
    12 oz. pkg. frozen shrimp
    8 green onions
    2/3 c. sliced almonds (optional)
Preparation
    Mix rice with oleo in crock-pot.
    Stir to coat rice thoroughly.
    Add all remaining ingredients, except some almonds and onions to sprinkle on top.
    Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, on high for 2 to 3 hours.
