Shrimp Gumbo Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 or 2 cloves of garlic
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 or 2 cans tomatoes
    1 or 2 cans okra
    1 can of water
    salt and pepper to taste
    cayenne and hot sauce to taste
    seafood of your choice
Preparation
    Make a roux, which will be the shortening and flour (it will make a paste). Add garlic; brown, stirring constantly. Add the bell pepper, onions and celery, stir thoroughly to coat. Add the tomatoes and okra, then slowly add water. Season with seasonings to your taste and add the seafood of your choice. Simmer for 30 minutes, serve over rice.
