Creamed Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 medium green cabbage, cored and cut into 1/2-inch strips
1/4 c. heavy cream
salt and pepper
1 tsp. caraway seeds (optional)
Preparation

In a heavy, non-iron skillet, melt the butter and cook the cabbage over medium heat. Saute it for 5 minutes while tossing it in the butter.
Pour in the cream. Season with salt and pepper. Bring quickly back to the boil; cover pan and reduce heat. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes until tender, but not soft. Sprinkle with caraway seed before serving, if desired. Makes 3 or 4 servings.
