Dolly Mcclintock'S Johnny Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. lard, melted (today, we use Crisco)
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in one bowl (or as recipe states, \"stir up and bake.\"
Bake at least 1/2 hour at 350\u00b0.
