Apricot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. apricots
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water (set aside)
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. coconut
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    First Layer:
    Cream 3/4
    cup
    oleo
    and 1 cup of sugar, then add flour, salt,
    soda,
    coconut and nuts.\tMix well with your hands.
    Press 3 cups
    into\tbottom of pan (like a crust). Cook 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
