Carrot Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sifted cake flour
    9 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. mashed, cooked carrots
    1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 c. ground nuts
Preparation
    Separate the eggs and add a pinch of salt to whites; set aside.
    Beat yolks and add sugar, cake flour, carrots, orange peel, ginger, cinnamon and nuts.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into egg yolk mixture.
    Turn into a 9-inch tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
