Open-Faced Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. apples, peeled and sliced
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. half and half
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Arrange apple slices in pie shell until full.
    Combine sugar, flour and salt.
    Add half and half; mix well.
    Cover apples with cream mixture.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Remove foil and bake for 30 minutes longer or until apples are tender.
