Congealed Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 large 3 oz. pkg. peach or strawberry Jell-O
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Drain juice of pineapple.
Add Jell-O.
Warm over heat until Jell-O dissolves.
Mix pineapple and buttermilk.
Pour hot mixture over pineapple and buttermilk.
Add Cool Whip and blend until there are no lumps.
Pour in casserole dish and refrigerate.
Best if congealed overnight.
