Perfect Standing Rib Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    at least a 2 lb. roast (allow 3/4 to 1 lb. per person)
    seasonings
Preparation
    At
    least

    to 4 hours before serving, place the room temperature
    roast,
    sprinkled
    with
    seasonings, in a shallow open pan
    (fat
    side up), resting on bones or on a rack.
    Bake for exactly
    45
    minutes in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven.
    Do not add water. Do
    not
    cover.
    Do
    not baste.
    Turn off oven.
    Leave the roast in the oven with the door closed.
    Do not open oven. Turn oven on again at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes before serving.
    Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
    Delicious.
