Frankfurters Spanish Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans tomato soup
    1 c. rice (uncooked)
    dash of thyme
    1 lb. frankfurters
    2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, cut in strips
    8 slices bacon
Preparation
    Cook rice in large quantity salted water; drain.
    Combine soup and rice in baking dish.
    Add dash of thyme.
    Split frankfurters; spread with mustard, then insert strips of cheese.
    Wrap with bacon.
    Place frankfurters on top of rice mixture.
    Bake in moderate oven, 375\u00b0, for about 30 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Makes 4 generous servings.
