Chinese Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can cut wax beans, drained
    1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1/2 c. sliced red onion rings
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
Preparation
    Combine beans, water chestnuts and onion rings in large bowl. Dissolve sugar in vinegar in pint jar tightly covered.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and shake.
    Pour over beans.
    Chill overnight.
    Serves 8.
