Vanilla Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    5 large eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla flavor
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Cream sugar and butter together; beat well.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add dry mix beginning with flour, then milk, ending with flour.
    Beat well after adding all of flour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
