Chocolate Crinkles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream the shortening, sugar and vanilla.
Beat in eggs, then chocolate.
Sift dry ingredients together; blend in alternately with milk.
Add nuts.
Chill 3 hours.
Form into 1-inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar.
Place on greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 13 minutes.
Cool slightly; remove from pan.
Do not overbake; bake just until set.
Makes 4 dozen.
